Caregiver Academy is a series of weekend workshops, hosted by the Zimmer Children’s Museum by ShareWell, designed to provide participants with an opportunity to learn and discuss important topics in early childhood and arts-integrated education. Each workshop introduces important topics, practical approaches, hands-on training, open discussion, and peer support.

The Academy provides a unique opportunity for caregivers to come together, to share their experience and expertise, and to socialize and provide support.  In a field that is typically undervalued, our workshops help to build confidence and reaffirm that all of us doing this work are having a dramatic impact in the lives of the young children we care for.

Each year, the Zimmer Children’s Museum by ShareWell provides four weekend workshops in Spanish and English. One day of the Academy is dedicated to CPR and first aid training and the other day is a workshop on one or more themes.
